About Us

Sanctuary Restaurants is a joint project of One Fair Wage and Presente.org with participation by dozens of restaurants nationwide. Sanctuary restaurants have a zero tolerance policy for sexism, racism, and xenophobia, and believe that there is a place at the table for all. Dozens of restaurant employers, many of whom are members of RAISE (Restaurants Advancing Industry Standards in Employment), have signed on to an open letter (http://www.raiserestaurants.org/take-action) to President-elect Trump, calling for an end to deportation threats and the harassment of immigrants (including Muslim immigrants) and for a path to citizenship for these workers.
